Newton Upper Falls Station
The Newton Upper Falls, Mass. railroad station was buit in 1852. Over the years it has been served by several railroads. One of the first lines to serve this industrial village in the City of Newton was the Charles River Br, RR later follwed by the Boston, Hartford & Erie, New York & New England, New HAven, Penn Central and Conrail. Finally in 1984 the Bay Colony Railroad, one of eastern Massachusetts newest shortlines, serves this village in the City of Newton as shown by the local freight with No. 1061 on the head end, December 5, 1984 The stations is now used as hop in the Newton Upper Falls Historic District of the city.
